Who are you?
I describe myself as a Cinematic Storyteller who uses sound as my primary medium. My music is a bridge between the deep, rhythmic roots of South Indian folk and the expansive, atmospheric world of global cinematic scores.
As an artist, I am obsessed with textures and emotions. I don't just want to create a melody; I want to create a space where the listener feels immersed. Whether it’s a soulful indie track like 'Un Ninaivugal' or my upcoming experimental project 'Wings Without a Voice,' my goal is to evoke a specific visual or memory through my arrangements. I consider myself a bridge-builder—bringing regional Tamil sensibilities into a modern, international production context to show that music from a small town like Dindigul can resonate on a global scale.
Where are you from?
I am originally from Dindigul, Tamil Nadu (South India). The music scene here is deeply rooted in traditional folk and rich percussive heritage. Historically, Dindigul has been a hub for legendary 'Thappattam' and temple music, which has always influenced my rhythmic sense.
However, the scene is rapidly evolving. We are seeing a massive shift where independent artists like myself are moving away from traditional film music (Kollywood) to create a unique 'Indie Tamil' sound. Being from this region, my music is a bridge between these ancient atmospheric roots and modern cinematic soundscapes.
