Who are you?
We’re Press the Button, a band of two composer friends and we’re reaching out to share our new single, “Night and Day”.
It’s an overly desperate love song. Through the track you can feel a slow, aggressive growth of love, longing and loneliness, that ultimately feel inescapable – like winter's cold and darkness of autumn. Core-shaking drums, whispers and synth line distort the sense of time, linger and add up to a collapsing yet somehow stable soundscape. It's like an old voicemail you keep hearing in your dreams. Summarising itself with a desperate scream into the void: "Stay!".
The track blends soul reminiscent harmony, rock/jazz drums and pop melodies. It resists a single genre label, which is an invitation for a melomaniac to find something new to enjoy.
Our band was born from a realization: music and admiration becomes more meaningful when it’s shared. That’s what we are actively continuing to accomplish – working on building an international community who see music as a way of searching for the essence of things.
