Who are you?
Mala Escena is a project that began in 2018 in the border city of Tijuana, Mexico. It currently has five active members and various collaborators from the local rap scene. Its members go by stage name/nickname Franco, Radix Borealis, Shawn Peralta, Don Rigo, Charly Garcia, among others. This group creates a connection between the cities of Monterrey, NL, Mexico City, San Diego, CA, Houston, Texas, and Tijuana, BC. Among the genres covered in Mala Escena's production are rap, R&B, electronica, indie-pop, lo-fi hip hop, g-funk, boom bap, among others.
