Who are you?
I use my music to document my personal and spiritual growth as someone who has always struggled deeply with confidence issues and anxiety about the direction of my life. I like to bring color and vibrance to my sound to accentuate the beauty of each moment. My name JDHD stands for Joshua Dorsey's Higher Desires and it is a reminder to always strive to become the highest version of myself.
Where are you from?
I am based in the DMV area and the DMV is full of very talented and diverse artists of all genres who are extremely creative and supportive of one another. It is a very tight-knit and creatively open community.
